Why am I missing songs?
Rockbot will only sync songs we have in our active catalog and that we can license. Additionally, missing songs could mean that we have the song, but our system is not recognizing the match (ex: the song name or artist name are not 100% the same)
How do I import more of my missing content?
Rockbot users can review potential matches for missing song content in the Remote App for business and the Request App. Just follow the steps below for the appropriate app:
Remote App
- Log into your venue
- Go to the bottom right index > Select "Change Playlist"
- Scroll to the section with synced playlists.
- NOTE: Apple Music only. Spotify sync is currently unavailable.
- Click on the desired playlist.
- You will then see how many of the songs have been matched.
- NOTE: Depending on the number of tracks in the playlist, syncing may take a while.
- Click into the box for "Match Songs" to review what is missing from your synced playlist.
- You can then click on each song and select the corresponding/suggested song from our Library if one exists.
- When Rockbot adds new content that matches your missing songs, they will be automatically added to your playlists.
Request App
- Check into an available venue > Click the music icon
- Scroll down to the synced playlist section (Apple Music)
- Select the playlist you want to check > review how many matched/unmatched songs you have
- Click into a synced playlist section allows you to review all of the unmatched songs
- You can then click the song, and our system will identify potential matches within Rockbot's music Library.
- Clicking the checkbox will "make a match" and add that song to your playlist.
- When new content is added that matches your missing songs, it will be automatically added to your playlists.
Will the playlist automatically sync songs?
Yes! Once you’ve imported the playlist, Rockbot will automatically refresh and add content as it becomes available in our Library. This process takes place once per day.
