Our Rockbot Players can connect to an in-venue display screen through an HDMI cable. If your display is showing “no display detected” it is not receiving the HDMI signal from the Rockbot Player.
Common Troubleshooting Techniques:
- Turn the display screen off, waiting 10 seconds and then turn it back on
- Try swapping inputs on the display screen
- If the cable is over 30 feet, ensure the output end of the cable is near the display screen. Most HDMI cables over 30 feet are directional
- Try a new cable
If the HDMI cable is over 50 feet, the cable needs to include a booster. You may want to try using a shorter HDMI to at least test that it is receiving a signal.
