Have you recently (in the last 1-2 weeks) updated your internet, WiFi, or network connection?
If the answer is yes, most likely there is a Firewall blocking Rockbot's outbound connection.
If either of the below issues apply to you, there is likely a Firewall issue:
- You are a new Customer and are having trouble installing or getting your Rockbot Player online
- Your Player shows "Offline" but you can still hear music.
To remove the Firewall restrictions, send our Network Requirements guide to your network provider or Firewall company. Rockbot must have access to the URLs listed to successfully stream music.
"No. This doesn't apply to me, I don't have a Firewall."
Not true. You may not have a ton of permissions on your network, but you most certainly have a Firewall. Firewalls protect your computers from being accessed by others.
Many are automatically set up AND updated by your internet service provider or network administrator.
You will want to access your Firewall Settings/Permissions and update it with the Network Requirements guide or send the guide to your Administrator/IT Manager.
