Spotify Playlist export is currently not working and the files it generates can’t be imported into our system. While we wait for Spotify to resolve this issue with their system, this workaround guide allows you to import those playlists using a .csv file instead of directly from Spotify.
Workaround:
Exporting playlists from Spotify into a .csv file.
- Navigate to https://exportify.net/
- Click the Get Started button.
- Please log in to your Spotify account (if you have not already done so).
- After logging in, you will see a list of your current playlists on Spotify.
- Click the Export button next to the playlist you want to export into a .csv file.
- After clicking the button, a .csv file will be created and downloaded to your computer. The file name should appear as the name of your playlist (example: the_roller_rink.csv).
- Open a web browser, navigate to dashboard.rockbot.com, and log in to your Rockbot account.
- From the Rockbot Dashboard, click on the Music note from the left sidebar to navigate to the Music tab.
- From the Music page, click on the Playlists tab, then click on New Playlist.
- From the pop-up window, select the option to Import from CSV.
- Upload the .csv file.
- Once uploaded, choose the Playlist owner and then click Import Playlist.
- If any songs fail to upload (or there are less than 20), songs can be manually added. You can do so from the Rockbot Song Browser window, shown below.
