If you are receiving an error that there is a gap in your music scheduling, this means that one of your scheduled music stations has no playlists scheduled for a period of the day. You will still hear music playing during this gap because Rockbot will fill the gap with music from one of your other scheduled playlists to avoid unintended silence during business hours.
Why does this happen?
In most cases, the gap in music is created when a user deletes a playlist that was the only scheduled music for a period of the day.
How do I fix my station?
Identify which station has a gap
- From the web dashboard, click on the music tab to view your stations.
- Find the scheduled station that has an error next to the Set Times button that says “There is a gap in your hourly schedule.”
Schedule music to fill the gap
- If you wish to add a new playlist, press the Add Playlist button to browse playlists.
- Once you have selected the playlists for your station, press the Set Times button to schedule your playlists.
