The Micro SD card is the operating system for how the Player functions. The Micro SD card needs to be inserted into the Rockbot Player for audio to play through speakers or video content to show on a display. The slot is spring-loaded and, depending on the model, will slightly stick out of the Player.
Upon arrival and installation of your Rockbot Player, the Micro SD card should already be inserted into its slot on the Player and pre-configured for your venue. It does not need to be altered, however, occasionally in transit, the Micro SD card may become ejected. When the Micro SD card is ejected, the Player will NOT be able to stream any content. Simply push the Micro SD card into the slot, and you should hear it click into place.
Due to the gentle nature of this connection, make sure the Micro SD card is always installed in the Player. If your Player needs to be rebooted, pull the power cable on the Rockbot Player, wait 5 seconds making sure all of the lights turn off, and then plug the power cable back into the device.
