The SD card is the operating system for streaming music. The SD card needs to be inserted into the Rockbot Music Player for music to play through your speakers. The slot is spring-loaded and, depending on the model, will slightly stick out of the player.
Upon arrival and installation of your Rockbot Music Player, the SD card should already be inserted into its slot on the player and pre-configured for your venue. It does not need to be altered, however, occasionally in transit, the SD card may become ejected. When the SD card is ejected, the player will NOT be able to stream any music. Simply push the SD card into the slot, you should hear it click into place.
Due to the gentle nature of this connection, make sure the SD card is always installed in the player. If your player needs to be rebooted, pull the power cord on the Rockbot Player, wait 5 seconds making sure all of the lights turn off, and then plug the power cord back into the device.
If issues arise, the Rockbot Player generates an engineering debug file on the SD card. Please contact support to further troubleshoot or call 415-813-6020 Ext 1.
