Note: Adjusting the crossfade is only available with the Rockbot Media Player.
How Crossfade Works:
Crossfade is the transition time from one song to the next. Each number equates to a second of music overlap. If your crossfade is set to a 10 the next track will begin when there are 10 seconds left on the current track.
This feature is only accessible at dashboard.rockbot.com.
How to Adjust Crossfade:
You can adjust the crossfade from the web dashboard by heading to Music icon and then clicking on "Music Settings" in the top toolbar. The lower the number the less overlap you will have between songs. The higher the number, the more seconds of overlap you will have.
Music Icon > Music Settings > "Edit" Crossfade
Adjusting Your Vibe:
If you are looking for a more chill vibe, you will want to set your crossfade under 5. If you want to maintain a high energy level you will want to increase the crossfade to a 7-10.
Examples:
- Relaxed - A Coffee House will typically set their crossfade between 1-3
- Upbeat - A Retail Store or Restaurant might set the crossfade between 4-6
- High Energy - A gym or fitness studio typically sets their crossfade between 7-10
