To manage a playlist, go to your dashboard, navigate to the "Playlists" tab on the Music page, and select the playlist you want to edit. This will open the Playlist Editor, where you can view songs in the playlist, browse and preview tracks, and add the playlist to a schedule.
Hover over the “…” button. You’ll see the option: “Add to Playlist.” Selecting this opens a new window where you can select the playlist you want to add songs from.
The destination playlist must be a playlist that you have permissions to edit. By default, Rockbot-curated playlists are not editable and will not appear on the list.
Note: If you want to combine two Rockbot-curated playlists, you must first duplicate the RB playlist, then use the Add to Playlist feature to copy songs from one to the other playlist.
Once selections are made, clicking “Save” will copy all songs from the source playlist into the selected target playlist(s).
What’s the difference between the different methods to add a Rockbot playlist?
Add to Schedule: Use this to add a Rockbot playlist directly to a schedule. The playlist will automatically update whenever the Rockbot curation team makes changes.
Duplicate Playlist: This creates a user-editable version of an RB playlist. Users can add or remove songs. When combined with Add to Playlist, this allows users to merge multiple RB playlists. However, duplicated playlists will not receive future updates from the Rockbot curation team. Manual updates are required.
Add to Playlist: This copies all songs from the current playlist into one or more user-editable playlists. Songs cannot be added to official RB playlists, so this feature only works with playlists the user has permission to edit.
