If you have playlists imported from Spotify or Apple Music, you can keep them current in Rockbot in two ways: manual one-click update or auto-update.
Manual One-Click Update
You can manually trigger an update for any imported Spotify or Apple Music playlist at any time.
- Go to your imported Spotify or Apple Music playlist.
- Look for the Update Playlist button at the top of the page.
- Click Update now.
- Updates will override any changes you made to the playlist inside the Rockbot Dashboard.
- Updates will fail if the playlist no longer exists in your linked Spotify or Apple Music account.
If the update is successful, you'll see a confirmation message. If the update fails, you'll see an error message — check that the playlist still exists in your linked account, or try the update again.
Auto-Update (Weekly for Spotify / Daily for Apple Music)
You can also turn on auto-update to keep your imported playlists current automatically, without any manual action.
- Go to your imported Spotify or Apple Music playlist.
- Look for the Auto-update toggle at the top right of the page.
- Toggle it on to enable auto-update.
- Spotify imported playlists will auto-update weekly.
- Apple Music imported playlists will auto-update daily.
- Auto-update is off by default — you can enable or disable it per playlist at any time.
- Like manual updates, auto-updates will override any changes you made to the playlist inside the Rockbot Dashboard.
- Auto-updates will be skipped if the playlist no longer exists in your linked account.
To turn off auto-update, simply toggle it back off on the playlist page.
