The Asset Library is where all the media you will use in your campaigns are stored.
Assets are media that you can schedule to run in your Digital Signage and Audio Announcements campaigns.
Currently supported asset types are images, video, audio files, embedded web pages, social media feeds, and text. Your available asset types may be restricted based on your subscription.
To follow along with this guide, sign in at dashboard.rockbot.com and open your venue's dashboard.
Adding Assets to a Campaign
Once your Assets are created and ready to go, you can select them in the Asset Library and bulk options will appear at the top of the library UI.
You can use these bulk options to add assets to a campaign, remove them from a campaign, or delete them. Be aware that deleting an asset removes it from the Rockbot system and it will no longer be available.
Once you have selected the set of Assets you want, you can either add them to an existing campaign or create a new one. Creating a new Campaign using the bulk action here will allow you to select a name for your new campaign and launch the Campaign Builder.
Navigating your Asset Library
To find the set of assets you want to add, you have a few options.
The Search bar will search both asset names and the names of the campaigns that assets are in.
You can also filter your library based on asset type.
Orientation
Note that Image and Video Assets will only play on Displays that have the same Orientation as the asset.
If an asset in your campaign has the wrong orientation for a given display it will be dropped from the playback order for that display. If your deployment includes displays in both landscape and portrait orientation, you can take advantage of this by including both versions of each asset. As the campaign runs, Rockbot will skip the version of the asset with the wrong orientation from the order for each display.
