Asset Duplication is a feature in Rockbot Digital Signage that allows you to add multiple copies of the same asset to one campaign. This is helpful if you want an asset to appear more than once in an ordered playlist or if you want to spread it out across your campaign. In addition, all duplicates are linked, so if you edit one, the changes will apply to every copy.
Option 1: Add the Asset Again
- Use the normal Add Asset flow to add the same asset to your campaign multiple times.
- Each time you add it, it will appear at the end of your campaign’s queue.

You’ll see a confirmation message before it’s added.
Option 2: Use “Duplicate for this Campaign”
- Inside your campaign, click the … (more options) button on the asset.
- Select Duplicate for this Campaign.
- A new copy of the asset will be added to your campaign, and you’ll see a confirmation message.
Note: Since duplicated assets are linked, always remember: any change you make to one will affect all copies.
Editing or Removing Duplicated Assets
- Editing: If you edit a duplicated asset (for example, changing duration or availability), all copies of that asset update automatically.

Removing: If you remove one duplicate asset from the manage campaigns window, all copies of that asset will be removed. You will see a confirmation window when you are about to remove all copies of a duplicated asset.
