How to Override Music

Rockbot offers the ability to change the music at your business on the fly, without having to change your schedule. You can temporarily replace the current music with a playlist that better fits your day by setting a Temporary Override.

To follow along with this guide, sign in at dashboard.rockbot.com and open your venue's dashboard.

There are two ways to quickly set an Override:

1. From a Playlist Browser
   1. Mouse over the Card for the playlist you want to expand it
   2. Hover over the
   3. Select “Play Now”
      
      
   4. Choose a duration
      
   5. Click Play Now
2. From a Playlist detail page or Playlist builder
   1. Click on “Play Now”
   2. Choose a duration and your playlist will start playing
      

Once the override expires, you’ll automatically revert to your normal schedule.  If you choose the incorrect playlist or want to cancel an override,

1. Select the down-carrot on the audio tab on the top of your page
2. On the left hand side of the screen where it says Temporary Override, select the X next to the playlist
